Little too pricey for the condition of the room but my dad had just passed so I needed a place, the lady was very sweet

This is an older motel. I am guessing it was in really bad shape and the owners have done a lot to fix it up. Still some things to do but they are trying. The rooms were clean which is very important. New AC units. The manager was awesome and very helpful in telling us where to eat in town, which places close early, etc. The downside to this place is the rooms are tiny. I spend about 150 nights a year in motels and this was quite possibly the smallest room I have ever been in. It had a king size bed and there was maybe a foot or two from the wall on one side and the end. No table in the room. No closet. Tiny counter top in restroom. I am not a really picky person but I felt really cramped here. If I was in the area I would stay here again because there are not many options in the area - it isn't bad - just small.

Disclaimer - I have not stayed here, not yet. I'll explain...... My name is Rob, I drive a semi. Last week I had a load of pipes that were coated in a very toxic chemical, and the fumes were coming into the sleeper, making me sick. I called an asked if there were rooms available and explained my situation. Julie was very polite and genuinely concerned.for my safety. I ended up getting the wind to blow the fumes away, and I woke up to get on the road after sleeping with my windows down in 40 degree weather..... When I woke up I saw I had a text from Julie making sure I was alright, and also letting me k ow that she had left a room unlocked for me, and I could come and stay if I was unable to figure out things on my end. I couldn't believe that anyone was this caring to a total stranger!! Julie, thank you so much, and the next time I am through Stafford I will come visit and stay. You guys are amazing!! ~Rob Mantell

I remember what it was like before it was remodeled, and it wasn't great. Now its clean, comfortable, and convenient. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The one thing that I saw that I would fix is the doors to the rooms. They are a little old and beat up. All in all I will be staying here next time I'm in town visiting!

I will plan to stay at this motel every time I am visiting this area. This was the best hotel/motel experience I've ever had. The manager is absolutely fantastic and is going to make sure you are taken care of. Nothing fancy, just a clean, comfortable room and good people.
